WHEREAS, Hughes County has Ordinance No. 2005-05 FOR THE REGULATION OF FIRE HAZARDS IN HUGHES COUNTY; and

 

WHEREAS, Hughes County experienced moisture in late summer reducing fire hazards; and

 

WHEREAS, the Hughes County Commission has consulted with the Emergency Manager and with local fire officials in regard to rescinding the burn ban; and

 

WHEREAS, the conditions leading to the July 20, 2007 burn ban have been significantly reduced.

 

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Hughes County Commission rescinds Resolution 2007-11 which was enacted July 20, 2007 and became effective at 6:00 PM on July 21, 2007.
