The Veteran's Service Office is located in the basement of to the Courthouse.
The Veteran Service Officer serves the counties of Hughes, Stanley, and Sully. This office helps veterans in filing claims for disabilities incurred while serving in military active duty, pension benefits which is a needs based program, education benefits, medical benefits, burial benefits, which may include application for a headstone, home loan guaranty certificates, and applications for SD State Veterans Home.
